Founded in 2014, Boonchua is a nonprofit organization that provides emergency medical services in rural towns outside of Chiang Khong, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. Without this organization the residents of this region would not have access to emergency medicine or transportation to the hospital. The program is run by volunteers who have been trained by various individuals and organizations locally and from abroad. They have very limited access to resources and much of their medical equipment and ambulance are in need of upgrades.
